Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when you are entitled to a refund, how refunds are processed, and how long they take. It should be read alongside our Return Policy and Terms & Conditions.
By placing an order on coldclothingstore.com, you agree to the terms of this policy.
1. When a Refund Is Issued
A refund will be issued in the following circumstances:

When a Refund Is Not Issued
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- Change of mind after the order has been dispatched.
- Return request made after the 7-day return window.
- Items returned in a used, washed, worn, or altered condition.
- Items returned without original tags.
- Items purchased during clearance sales or marked as Final Sale.
- Items damaged after delivery due to customer misuse or improper care.
- Sizing or fit dissatisfaction where the product matches its labelled size.
- Colour variation due to screen display differences.
- Returns that have not been approved by us in advance.
- Items lost in return transit when sent without a tracked shipping method.
3. Partial Refunds
A partial refund may be issued in the following cases:
- Only some items in a multi-item order are eligible for a refund — you will be refunded for the eligible items only.
- A returned item is received in a condition slightly different from what was described — we will assess and notify you of any deduction before processing.
- An order is partially cancelled before dispatch — only the cancelled items will be refunded.
We will always inform you of the refund amount and reason before processing a partial refund.
4. Refund Method
All refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. We do not offer refunds via any alternate method unless the original payment method is no longer available (for example, a cancelled card or closed account).
- If your original payment method is no longer available, contact us and we will work with you to find a resolution.
- We do not issue refunds as store credit, vouchers, or cash unless you explicitly request store credit as an alternative.
5. Refund Timelines
Once we initiate a refund on our end, the time it takes to reach you depends on your payment method:

6. Shipping Charges and Refunds
- Shipping charges are fully refunded when the return is due to our error — wrong item sent, defective product, or order lost in transit.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable for size exchanges initiated by the customer, failed deliveries caused by customer error, or returns due to customer preference.
- If your original order qualified for free delivery (order value ₹999 or above) and a partial return brings the order value below ₹999, the standard shipping charge applicable to your location may be deducted from the refund.
7. Refund Process
- Raise a return or refund request by emailing admin.coldclothings tore@gmail.com within the applicable window.
- We will review and respond within 2 business days.
- If your request is approved and a return is required, ship the item back to us as instructed.
- Once we receive and inspect the item (or confirm the issue without requiring a return, e.g. for lost parcels), we will initiate the refund within 2 business days.
- You will receive a refund confirmation email once the refund has been initiated.
For cancellations before dispatch, the refund is initiated within 2 business days of the cancellation being confirmed — no return shipment required.
8. Refunds for EMI Orders
If your order was paid using an EMI option through Razorpay, the refund amount will be the total order value. However, any interest or processing fees already paid to the financing provider may not be refunded by Cold Clothing Store — those charges are governed by the terms of your financing arrangement. Please check directly with your EMI or BNPL provider for their refund and cancellation terms.
9. Non-Receipt of Refund
If you believe a refund is due but have not received it:
- Check your bank account or payment app — refunds sometimes appear under a different transaction label.
- Contact your bank or card issuer to check for pending credits.
- If you still cannot locate the refund after the stated timeline, email us at admin.coldclothingstore@gmail.com with your order number and we will investigate with Razorpay.
10. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or overrides your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable Indian law. If you are not satisfied with the resolution we offer, you may approach the National Consumer Helpline at 1800-11-4000 or your local District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.
