This Payment Policy explains how payments are accepted, processed, and handled on coldclothingstore.com. By placing an order, you agree to the terms of this policy.
1. Payment Gateway
All payments on coldclothingstore.com are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a trusted and RBI-authorised payment aggregator. Cold Clothing Store does not directly handle your payment credentials.
Razorpay processes payments in compliance with PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) requirements, ensuring your payment information is encrypted and secure.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept all payment methods supported by Razorpay, including:
- UPI — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and all UPI-enabled apps.
- Credit Cards — Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express.
- Debit Cards — Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, Maestro.
- Net Banking — All major Indian banks.
- Mobile Wallets — Paytm, Mobikwik, Freecharge, and others supported by Razorpay.
- EMI — Available on eligible credit cards and cardless EMI options through Razorpay.
Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available. All orders must be paid in full at the time of checkout.
3. Currency
All prices on coldclothingstore.com are listed and charged in Indian Rupees (INR) only. We do not accept payment in any foreign currency.
4. When Payment Is Charged
Payment is charged at the time you complete checkout. Your order is confirmed only after Razorpay successfully authorises your payment. If your payment is not authorised, your order will not be placed and no charge will be made.
In rare cases, a payment may appear as a pending hold on your account before being fully processed. This is a standard banking procedure and is not a duplicate charge. Pending holds that are not converted to confirmed payments are typically released within 5–7 business days by your bank.
5. Payment Security
- Cold Clothing Store does not store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, bank account number, or any other sensitive payment credentials on our servers at any point.
- All payment data is transmitted directly to Razorpay over an encrypted connection.
- Our website uses HTTPS throughout to protect your data in transit.
- We will never ask for your card details, OTP, UPI PIN, or banking passwords over email, phone, or any other channel. If anyone contacts you claiming to be from Cold Clothing Store and asks for this information, do not share it and report it to us immediately.
6. Payment Failures
If your payment fails at checkout:
- Your order will not be placed.
- No charge will be made to your account. If an amount was deducted, it will be automatically reversed by Razorpay or your bank within 5–7 business days.
- You may retry the payment using a different payment method.
If you believe you were charged for a failed order, contact us at admin.coldclo thingstore@gmail.com with your order details and we will investigate immediately.
7. Duplicate Payments
If you are charged more than once for the same order due to a technical error, contact us at admin.coldclothingstore@gmail.com within 7 days with:
- Your order number.
- The transaction reference numbers for both charges.
- A screenshot or bank statement showing the duplicate deduction.
We will verify the duplicate and initiate a refund of the extra amount within 5–7 business days.
8. Pricing Errors
While we make every effort to display correct prices, errors may occasionally occur. If a product is listed at an incorrect price:
- We reserve the right to cancel your order before dispatch and issue a full refund, regardless of whether payment has already been collected.
- We will notify you of the cancellation and the correct price. You may then choose to re-order at the correct price.
9. Taxes and GST
Cold Clothing Store is currently not registered under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act. No GST is charged on your order. The price you see at checkout is the final price you pay.
This position may change in the future. If and when GST registration is obtained, this policy and product pricing will be updated accordingly.
10. EMI and Buy Now Pay Later
EMI and Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) options, if available, are offered and managed entirely by Razorpay and its lending partners. Any interest, processing fees, or charges associated with these options are levied by the financing provider, not by Cold Clothing Store. We have no visibility into or control over the terms of any EMI or BNPL arrangement you enter into.
Please review the terms of any EMI or BNPL product carefully before using it.
11. Refunds
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. We do not offer refunds via any alternate method (e.g. cash, bank transfer, store credit as a substitute for a cash refund) unless the original payment method is no longer available.
Refund timelines:
- UPI and wallets: 2–3 business days.
- Debit cards and net banking: 5–7 business days.
- Credit cards: 5–7 business days to process; may appear on your next billing cycle depending on your card issuer.
These timelines begin from the date we initiate the refund on our end. Cold Clothing Store is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or card issuer after we have released the refund.

12. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we reserve the right to:
- Provide transaction evidence to Razorpay and your bank to contest the chargeback.
- Suspend your account pending investigation.
- Refuse future orders from your account if a chargeback is found to be fraudulent or made in bad faith.
We strongly encourage you to contact us first at admin.coldclothings tore@gmail.com before raising a dispute. Most issues can be resolved quickly without involving your bank.
13. Fraudulent Transactions
Cold Clothing Store actively monitors for suspicious or fraudulent transactions. We reserve the right to cancel any order we reasonably believe is fraudulent, made using stolen payment credentials, or placed with the intent to defraud. Such orders will be reported to the relevant authorities.
