Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains when and how you can cancel an order placed on coldclothingstore.com, and what happens when we cancel an order. By placing an order, you agree to the terms of this policy.
1. Cancellation by You — Before Dispatch
You may cancel your order at any time before it has been dispatched. Once dispatched, an order cannot be cancelled — you may instead initiate a return after delivery under our Return Policy.
To cancel your order before dispatch:
- Email us at admin.coldclothingstore@gmail.com as soon as possible with the subject line "Cancellation Request — Order #[your order number]".
- Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to cancel, and the reason for cancellation.
- We will confirm whether your order has been dispatched yet and whether cancellation is possible.
Important: Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment. The sooner you contact us, the higher the chance of successful cancellation. We cannot guarantee cancellation even within this window if the order has already been handed to the courier.
2. Cancellation After Dispatch
Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You must wait for delivery and then raise a return request within 7 days of receipt under our Return Policy.
Refusing delivery at the door does not automatically result in a refund. If you refuse a delivery, the parcel will be returned to us. We will inspect it upon receipt and, if the item is undamaged and in original condition, issue a refund of the product value only. Original and return shipping charges will not be refunded.
3. Partial Cancellation
If your order contains multiple items and you wish to cancel only some of them, contact us at admin.coldclothingstore@gmail.com before dispatch. We will attempt to fulfil the partial cancellation if the order has not yet been packed.
If a partial cancellation is successful:
- You will be refunded for the cancelled items.
- If the remaining order value falls below ₹999, standard shipping charges will apply and will be deducted from the refund.
4. Cancellation by Cold Clothing Store
We reserve the right to cancel any order at any time before dispatch for the following reasons:
- The ordered product is out of stock or has been discontinued.
- A pricing or description error was identified on the product listing.
- Payment could not be verified or authorised.
- The order appears fraudulent, abusive, or placed in bad faith.
- The delivery address is outside our serviceable area or is incomplete and cannot be verified.
- Any other reason at our sole discretion.
If we cancel your order, we will notify you by email and issue a full refund including any shipping charges paid, within 5–7 business days.
5. Refund on Cancellation

6. Orders Placed by Mistake
If you placed an order by mistake — wrong size, wrong product, or accidental duplicate order — contact us immediately at admin.coldclothings tore@gmail.com. We will do our best to cancel or amend the order if it has not yet been dispatched. We cannot guarantee amendments once an order is in processing.
For duplicate orders placed accidentally, we will cancel the duplicate and issue a full refund provided neither order has been dispatched. If both have been dispatched, you will need to return the unwanted order under our Return Policy.
7. Cancellation During Sale or Promotional Periods
Orders placed during sale events, flash sales, or limited-time promotional periods may be subject to faster processing and dispatch to meet demand. During these periods, the window for successful cancellation may be shorter. We recommend contacting us immediately if you need to cancel a sale-period order.
8. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Cancellation Policy limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable Indian law. If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of a cancellation request, you may contact the National Consumer Helpline at 1800-11-4000 or approach your local District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.
